Welcome to the Rossmoor Neighborhood Watch page.  We have kicked off our new Neighborhood Watch program and we need your help!  This community service can provide tremendous benefits to Rossmoor residents including crime prevention, disaster preparedness, lost & found pet notices, and improved community communication.  The beauty of our high-tech program will be a master email distribution chain that will allow instantaneous notification to you and your neighbors of important news or recent criminal activity in our area.  Just a few weeks ago, a repeat criminal broke into a house on Martha Ann Drive.  If a neighbor had not called the police immediately, the damage to the victim and her home could have been much worse.  We also are experiencing significant coyote activity in Rossmoor.  Neighborhood Watch is the best way for us to reduce crime and share information quickly.

The essence of Neighborhood Watch is as simple as it gets:  keep a look out for anything unusual and if you see anything suspicious or of concern to report it to the Sheriff (EMERGENCY 9-1-1 / NON-EMERGENCY 714-647-7000).  If it is something your neighbors should know about, contact your Block Captain too.  Block Captains will pass information onto their neighbors and pass information up to me for distribution to all of the other Block Captains and the NW committee.  This committee is organized and run by the Rossmoor Homeowners Association.  Your investment in time should be minimal, but the value YOU are bringing to your community is tremendous.

Please contact me as soon as possible and I will let you know what block you are in and who your Block Captains are.  If you are interested in volunteering to be a Block Captain, contact me and I will get you started.  The only requirements to be a Block Captain are to look out for your neighborhood and pass on important information to your neighbors.  Feel free to contact me at any time to answer questions or share activity going on in your area.  Most importantly, with an effective Neighborhood Watch program, Rossmoor will be an even better and safer place for us and our children.

Thank you,
